Overview

Innovate UK have announced the second round of funding (£15m in each) for each of the Infrastructure Systems and Health & Life Sciences sectors. Businesses can apply for funding to support a range of innovation projects that tackle commercial challenges to the Infrastructure and Health & Life Sciences sectors.

What you will learn:

The competitions are part of Innovate UK’s new simplified process and at this seminar you will hear how their new structure works and details of these competitions. You will also hear how Invest NI and others can help you apply.

In the Infrastructure Systems competition, priority areas are:

  • Energy Systems
  • Connected Transport
  • Urban Living
  • Smart Infrastructure

In the Health & Life Sciences competition, priority areas are:

  • Increase yield, quality and sustainability in agriculture and food production
  • Improve precision medicine, advanced therapies, preclinical technologies
  • Advance biosciences in healthcare and agriculture and food production
