Design Bites | Why Human-Centred Design Matters 

Join us for the sixth in our series of lively lunchtime sessions, Design Bites.

What exactly is Human-Centred Design (HCD) and why does it matter? And can it really help create outstanding service for our customers? 

HCD is a way of solving business problems that puts humans front and centre. It lets you focus on people, solve the right problem, look at the whole picture then test your solution.

Design isn’t about making a product pretty or putting it in a fancy box. It goes much deeper than that.

We’ll be getting together with Andrew McCrea from award-winning UX and service design specialists Fathom to understand more. 

Andrew will give a short presentation to introduce the ideas behind HCD and to explain why it’s so important to put people at the heart of technology. 

Participation and questions from the audience are welcome.

This interactive session includes a short Q&A and will run on Wednesday 11th March from 12.30-1.30pm in the Everglades Hotel, Prehen Rd, Derry/Londonderry BT47 2N
