The Northern Ireland Life and Health Sciences Launchpad is a £7.5 million fund which Innovate UK has ringfenced for life and health sciences projects in Northern Ireland.

Under the Launchpad, companies can apply for funding for innovation projects on a wide range of life and health sciences topics – ranging from biomarker discovery and validation to medical technology devices, or from applied diagnostics and therapeutics to the development of life sciences supply chains and processes.

Innovate UK is currently seeking applications under this fund; the closing date for applications is Wednesday 11 December 2024.

Innovate UK Competition Briefing

If you have an idea for an innovative life and health sciences project, which you think has the potential to secure Launchpad funding, you should register for the Innovate UK competition briefing at 13:00 on Thursday 14 November.

This briefing will help you decide if your project is eligible for Launchpad funding.

Invest NI Information Sessions

We will host a regional clinic at our North Western Regional Office, Timber Quay, Derry~Londonderry on Friday 15 November to help local businesses define their ideas and develop proposals.
